Collection: Cragganmore
Cragganmore is a Scotch whisky distillery located in the village of Ballindalloch, Banffshire, Scotland.
The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith on land leased by Sir George Macpherson-Grant. Smith chose the site because of its proximity to the waters of Craggan and its proximity to the Strathspey Railroad. Smith is an experienced winemaker, having worked as manager of the Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas and Wishaw wineries.
The Strathspey Railway is now abandoned, forming the Speyside Way long walk.
Cragganmore is marketed by United Distillers under its Classic Malts brand. United Distillers has since become part of Diageo.
