Collection: Duncan Taylor Collections

Duncan Taylor is an independent alcoholic beverage company. Based in Huntley, Scotland, it is a family-owned bottling company for alcoholic beverages. These brands include Black Bull (Scotch whisky), Indian Summer, Smokin', The Octave .

Founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a barrel broker and trading company. Over the decades, the company has forged strong links with brewers and distilleries across Scotland, with the company bringing its own barrels to distilleries to be filled with new wines. This has resulted in a string of cask whisky distilleries - many of which are now closed - that are still maturing today in Duncan Taylor warehouses.

The company was acquired in 2001 by Euan Shand, whose industry experience includes positions at Glendronach Distillery, William Teacher's & Sons, and founding and running The Bennachie Whisky Company. Euan then moved Duncan Taylor to his hometown of Huntly, acquired a factory in the town, converted it into a bottling plant, and established Duncan Taylor as an independent bottling company.
