Collection: Glenburgie
Glenburgie, also known as Glenburgie-Glenlivet, Glen Burgie or Glenburry is a whisky distillery located near Moray Alves , in a new revival in 1958 two Lomonds were installed in addition to the existing stills Distiller. The whisky distilled in these stills is kept separate from other whiskies produced by the distillery and sold under the name Glencraig. Production continued until 1981, when the experiments with the Lomond still were abandoned and the still was replaced by a regular still.
In 2000, Glenburgie ceased production entirely. The distillery was rebuilt in 2003-2004, with only the stills from the old distillery. Soon after, two more stills were added in 2006, bringing the total production capacity to 4,200,000 liters of pure alcohol per year.
