Ardbeg, often called "Ardbeg", is always full of experimentation and various twists every time it launches a new limited edition whiskey, and it always arouses a lot of discussion. This time, Ardbeg is taking everyone to the backyard for a barbecue.
"Ardbeg BizarreBQ", this wine is a collaboration with barbecue master Christian Stevenson known as "DJ BBQ", which is reminiscent of summer barbecue and charcoal grilled steak.
The brand said that this limited edition bottle uses a special toasted oak barrel technology to infuse the whiskey with a rich charcoal grilled and smoky flavor. The wine uses double-charred barrels, PX Sherry barrels and Ardbeg BBQ barrels (mysterious barrels?), and these barrels will be further grilled in the furnace before the wine is put into the barrels.
The official tasting note notes aromas of charcoal and soot with more herbs, spices, and espresso sprinkled with cinnamon.
On the palate, you can feel the fire-grilled steak, with spicy spices, leather, ginger, and the finish of black olives, artichokes and soot. It seems to have quite a strong taste, and chief winemaker Dr. Bill also said that this is definitely the best wine for barbecue.
