Aberfeldy 16 Year Single Malt Whisky 40% 70cl

Aberfeldy Distillery's 16 year old single malt whisky, released in the second half of 2015 as part of the 'Last Great Malts' range.

The drink ends maturation in Oloroso barrels made from sherry, which gives it a juicy sweetness.

Aroma: First raisins and cinnamon, then butter sugar, caramel and a slice of apple. There is also a slight floral malt flavor.

Palate: Round and soft, but not lazy at all. First, more apples, citrus and honey on toast soon after. Ginger sparks.

Finish: wax skin and oak.
