Aged for 5 years, it is distilled from 100% Scottish barley, with a peat phenol value of 137.3PPM. It is fully matured in first-fill American white oak bourbon barrels.
Aroma: Smoked nuts with a hint of sweet barley, the combination of ripe pear, barley, vanilla and honey brings out the sweetness of toasted brûlée, toasted oak barrels, coconut and almonds.
Taste: sweet with a slight spiciness, toasted oats with honeyed fruit sweetness, peat smoke combined with tropical fruits to become dark roasted jam, Turkish delight, chocolate biscuits.
Finish: smoky peat with a lot of floral and citrus notes, a slight hint of dried flowers.
Aroma: Smoked nuts with a hint of sweet barley, the combination of ripe pear, barley, vanilla and honey brings out the sweetness of toasted brûlée, toasted oak barrels, coconut and almonds.
Taste: sweet with a slight spiciness, toasted oats with honeyed fruit sweetness, peat smoke combined with tropical fruits to become dark roasted jam, Turkish delight, chocolate biscuits.
Finish: smoky peat with a lot of floral and citrus notes, a slight hint of dried flowers.
