Camus VSOP Cognac (Intensely Aromatic) 700ML

This is a very smooth cognac. Four years of maturity. On the aroma, there are rich floral aromas of violets, jasmine, roses, white flowers and peonies, as well as rich fruity aromas of sweet caramel apples, honey and fresh and dried fruits, especially plums, peaches and apricots, as well as Sauternes like golden raisins. and fig notes, along with some passion fruit and a hint of vanilla. There's also an earthy black tea quality, and a hint of waxiness. On the palate, the cognac is smooth, rich and smooth, with a mouth-coating texture. There's an initial burst of sweetness, with notes of baked apple, dried mango, maple syrup and toasted nuts, along with vanilla, a hint of oak and nutmeg. A slight bitterness develops on the finish. The finish is long, with sweet fruit, nutmeg and lingering vanilla.
