Camus XO Intensely Aromatic Cognac 700ml

This is an exceptionally aromatic cognac. XO is Camus' finest distilled spirits, including spirits sourced from its own Borderies growing areas. It has been matured for at least 10 years. It has a rich floral aroma, along with notes of dried fruits and candied fruits. On the nose, there are notes of honeysuckle and violets, as well as notes of dried cherries, orange peel and dried apricots. There are additional flavors of vanilla, butterscotch, hazelnut and oak, as well as a hint of milk chocolate. As the cognac opens, aromas of furniture wax and new leather emerge.
On the palate, the cognac is smooth and creamy, with a crème brûlée-like quality. It has aromas of candied cherries, dried apricots and orange marmalade. There are additional notes of milk chocolate, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, as well as an earthy black tea flavor. The finish is exceptionally long, featuring dried fruit and roasted nuts, with some chocolate and coffee notes.
