Pastoral craftsman from Saint-Estèphe, with a very limited production, covering only 0.6 hectares, consisting of three plots, ideally located in the heart of the Kos Plateau. This is a beautifully balanced, concentrated, fresh, fruity, fine wine that is meant to be enjoyed young but has good aging potential.

Brand: Chateau Linot 2019

AOC: Haut-Médoc grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 70% Merlot 30%
After harvest, they are picked by hand and rigorously sorted. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (33% new oak). Only 4500 bottles produced.

The rich tannins are smooth and elegant, making this a wine that will age well but can also be enjoyed young.

This small, family-run manufacturer is located in a corner of the village of Saint-Estèphe, next to its famous castle. In Bordeaux, there are many producers with more than 100 hectares of fields, but their own fields are only 0.6 hectares, and their annual output is only about 4,500 bottles. It is a Bordeaux garage wine producer worthy of its reputation, but one that produces wines of the highest quality with meticulous craftsmanship.

Chateau Reno began with only 0.1 hectares in the 1930s. It borrowed land from his great-uncle and expanded its own land to 0.6 hectares. The old stables were renovated and equipped with the latest brewing equipment. The "Linot" used in the name of the castle comes from John's memory when he was young. He often went to his grandfather's fields to see a little songbird named "Linot".
