Wine style: Southern Rhone red
Vinification process: Traditional brewing with stem removal, at a controlled temperature of 28°C in order to maintain fineness of tannins.
Features: Clear and bright with lovely garnet tones. On the nose there are notes of red fruit and licorice.
On the palate, this wine is supple and round with fine tannins. It has a good length.
Food: Great with grilled meats, cured meats, chicken Basquiat and pizza.
Serve temperature: 16 -17°C
Cellar aging: drink immediately or keep for 2-3 years
Domaine: Domaine Soleyrade is a fourth generation vineyard located in the heart of the Rhone Valley.
Its unique terroir consists of clay-limestone soils, and the vineyards are overgrown with grass between every other row.
There is also a stony clay called "gres" (sandstone).
The rest of the vineyards are located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The soil in this famous region is red clay with lots of pebbles.
