A spicy Caol Ila whiskey made from whiskey distilled between 2010 and 2011 and aged in oak and ex-sherry casks for over nine years. This whiskey captures the true essence of Caol Ila, combining fiery and coastal elements with plenty of soft smokiness. 1060 bottles produced.
NOSE : Spicy pork on the barbecue with hints of smoked paprika, black pepper and lime juice. Hot chocolate with paprika and caramelized hazelnuts for a refreshing wave-like aroma.
PALATE : Slightly greasy with spices, green peppers and rustic salt and pepper chips. The sweetness develops with dusty chocolate and freeze-dried raspberries wrapped in wood smoke.
FINISH: The spice lingers, along with a salty taste.
