Glen Elgin Distillery dates back to 1898 and is located in the Speyside area. Glen Elgin uses six stills and six wooden worm barrels to produce a wonderful fruity spirit that is very popular with bartenders. This whiskey is the epitome of mature Speyside single malt whisky.
A perfect blend of vanilla, honey, caramel and orange blossom. The palate is soft and fruity, with a silky mouthfeel that's complemented by malty notes, some pear and a very light anise flavor. The finish lingers with satisfying oak notes.
