Founded in 1780 during the American Revolution, the Pepper family brand is Kentucky's oldest whisky brand.
The brand is affectionately known as Old '1776' by its descendant, Colonel James E. Pepper.
Launched in partnership with other distilleries in 2012 to revive the old brand, the award-winning 1776 label has since gained acclaim in the whisky world.

100 Proof - Unfiltered - 95% rye and 5% malted barley in mash; aged 3-4 years; distilled at Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Water is refined and hand-bottled at the historic James E. Pepper Distillery using water from historic limestone wells.
