Land it is from Albinyana and Baix Penedès of Bisbal del Penedès and Garraf of Cubelles
A selection of small old vineyards in the municipal terms. They are 50-80 year old vines. in stony and calcareous soils.
Hand harvested in boxes less than 20 kg.
Fermentation takes place in different French oak barrels with a capacity of 300 liters, new and 1-year barrels and clay amphora.
The wine is fermented at 18ºC and then aged on lees for 5 months, with weekly barrels.
2 of the best casks and amphora were selected.
Bottled: May 2019. 880 bottles this year.
Tasting Notes Straw yellow with golden undertones. Smells a little shy, but aromas of hay, white fruit (like pears) and chamomile are emerging. Pleasant nose with ripe white fruit and anise on the nose.
Very good acidity and a slightly bitter finish typical of Xarel lo.
Gourmet white meat, rice, fatty or grilled fish, cheese, spicy food, creamy sauce.
Made from Penedès, the most native white grape in our region, this wine is very suitable for the terroir and climate.
It is a rustic old vine plant with early buds and regular growth. It has a very balanced quality of production.
