The latest version has been aged in bourbon casks for 11 years, followed by 4 years in fresh pinot noir casks at Grant Taylor Valley Vineyard in Central Otago, New Zealand.
Nose: Intense, fruity aroma with notes of custard, thorn jelly, red apple and cherries. Longrow is featured in smoky embers with toffee and butterscotch notes.
Palate: Smokiness continues on the palate and tannins develop, balanced by sweet confectionery, cranberry and raspberry in this smooth and delicate malt.
Aftertaste: With saltiness, sea notes and persistence of smoky embers, the Campbelltown influence is particularly evident at the end.
