Two types of oak casks create the perfect harmony of a unique single malt whisky.

Double Cask whiskey is aged in two types of oak casks, using carefully selected handcrafted casks and flavored with dry Oloroso sherry.

American oak imparts subtle flavors of vanilla, citrus and butterscotch.

European oak imparts subtle spice notes unique to The Macallan.

Once matured, the two unique whiskeys are combined to create a unique single malt whiskey with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.

Serve as is or over ice.

Appearance: Amber honey.

Aroma: Dried fruits, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with notes of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisins and sultanas with caramel, vanilla and ginger notes, complemented by woody spices and citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice and ginger, turning into sweet orange.
