Royal Lochnagar 12 yo 40% 70cl

Appearance: light amber

Aroma: Not noticeable at first. Planed wood, light toffee, boat paint. Linseed oil and even putty follow, followed by lychee-like acidity. The nose sweetens as the acidity of the water passes through (acid drops).

Still a pleasant fresh woody flavor followed by warm sandy notes.

After a while, add brown sugar to the coffee.

Taste: Pleasant; initial sweetness is quickly replaced by sourness.

Finish: Dry; medium length with a lovely persistent sandalwood aftertaste.
