Suntory Hibiki Blender's Choice 43% 70cl

Appearance: Light reddish amber

Aroma: Wild berries, white peach, pineapple, crème brûlée

Taste: Sweet, pleasant acidity

Finish: Mildly sweet with a hint of bitterness

Hibiki Blender's Choice will be bottled at 43% abv, 700ml using a variety of maturation levels from different types of barrels, primarily 15 to 30 year old wine barrel matured liquid.

A look back at the current Hibiki landscape. Let's not confuse Blender's Choice with NAS's Hibiki Japanese Harmony, which was released in March 2015. Despite being NAS, Japanese Harmony is generally considered to be on par with whiskeys around 12 years old.
Blender's Choice will be in the 15-20y range. So you can speculate that the release of Hibiki Blender's Choice will be a replacement for Hibiki 17 and/or 21, allowing yourself more flexibility in age statements.
