Wolfburn Small Batch No.318 is a Lightly Peated Single Malt. It has light peat aromas such as smoke and campfire, which are just a foil for the large amount of ripe fruits, barley, spices and other flavors in the wine, making the wine balanced and well-defined.
The peat of Wemyss Malt Peat Chimney NAS is much more obvious, with sea breeze, smoke, and a little bit of iodine, but there are also a lot of fruity aromas and creamy textures such as pineapple and ripe pear in the wine.
